Susan leads HR for the fund, focusing on building and enabling a world class team to support the delivery of the NIF mission. She is responsible for creating and implementing HR policies and practices, attracting and developing our internal talent and partnering with the leadership team to enhance performance. Given her experience in scaling businesses she also works closely with portfolio companies to support in best practices on HR matters.

Before joining NIF Susan was the CHRO at Mollie, a Netherlands based European payments service provider, driving hyper growth and then stabilisation post investment and building core HR capabilities, infrastructure and processes. Prior to this she was the HR Director for EMEA at Uber, having spent time scaling their businesses in the Middle East, Africa & Pakistan. Her earlier career spans 10+ years in HR leadership roles in financial institutions in the Middle East & North Africa with a focus on M&A and business transformation projects. An avid scuba diver, instructor and underwater photographer, her personal passion is the underwater world.
