Gisela leads compliance at NIF. With a deep understanding of the complex legal and regulatory landscape, she is responsible for the design and implementation of our compliance programs, ensuring the highest standards of ethics and integrity are upheld across all aspects of our investment activities.

Previously, Gisela was legal and compliance manager LSP, now EQT Life Sciences, where she was responsible for all legal and compliance aspects related to the marketing and management of investment funds. Prior to EQT Life Sciences, Gisela worked as a senior associate at Allen & Overy covering a wide range of investment products in various sectors. Gisela brings 17 years of hands on legal, regulatory and compliance experience. Gisela holds a master’s degree in civil law and is a compliance officer certified by the DSI (Dutch Securities Institute). Outside of work, Gisela enjoys open water swimming, skiing, and exploring new places with her young family.
