Kate O’Brien

In her role at NIF, Kate supports the board with its work on all aspects relating to the business and provides a key point of liaison with the senior leadership team. She is also a qualified lawyer. She has spent most of her career working at the intersection of critical technologies and venture, and previously held positions as General Counsel and Company Secretary at Oxford Science Enterprises, a billion-pound investment company that creates transformational businesses via its relationship with the University of Oxford, and as an advisor to Lansdowne Partners on their non-listed investment portfolios in deep tech and defence tech.
