Nur Özdemir is a Partner at NIF, where she leads the fund-of-funds (indirect investments) strategy and deployment.
She brings over 15 years of experience spanning equity investments, risk management and consulting. Prior to NIF, Nur spent more than a decade at the European Investment Bank (EIB) and European Investment Fund (EIF), investing in private equity, venture capital and private debt funds across Europe and globally. Her experience spans fund investing, fund-of-funds strategies, venture capital and technology transfer, including pioneering investments in deep-tech funds commercialising research and innovation from universities and research centres across Europe.
Nur holds an MSc in Risk and Finance from the London School of Economics, a Master of Research in Economics and Finance from the University of Luxembourg, and a BSc in Industrial Engineering from Bilkent University.
Outside of work, Nur enjoys playing with her son and taking long walks with her dogs.
