Yaqoob started his career at Deloitte and KPMG, then spent three years in investment banking at Credit Suisse before moving into private markets, where he has spent the rest of his career. He has led the finance and compliance functions at his two most recent funds, partnering closely with investment and operations teams to negotiate deals and build scalable reporting, controls, and stakeholder transparency. A qualified Chartered Accountant, Yaqoob holds a degree from McGill University and is currently Finance Director at the NIF.
